I was able to change my relationship with alcohol through This Naked Mind and its methodology, which is rooted in science and led with compassion and grace. It focuses on changing our emotions around alcohol, as opposed to just our behavior around it. We get curious, become aware and begin to challenge our thoughts and beliefs around alcohol in a way that strips you of the desire for a drink. I have the tools & training to lead you to a life where alcohol is small & irrelevant, no willpower or white knuckling required. You can take or leave a drink and don't feel deprived. New behavior. What exactly is Life Coaching & why would I sign up for it?

Life coaching is focused on helping you identify and achieve your personal goals. There's typically 1-on-1 sessions with a trained life coach who provides guidance, support, and accountability. Coaches use a variety of techniques and tools to help clients gain clarity, set actionable goals, and develop strategies to overcome challenges. My coaching process is highly personalized, tailored to each individual's unique needs and aspirations, and it empowers clients to make positive changes in their lives. Outcomes for individuals receiving coaching are significantly improved from those who don't have such a support structure.

How long does a typical coaching engagement last?

I currently offer 8, 12 & 16 week programs with 1 hour a week of Zoom, based on individual goals and needs. Whichever time frame you sign up for, the program is tailored specifically to you.

How does your program (method) differ from AA?

My coaching practice focuses on changing the EMOTION of the substance (i.e. you never think about alcohol) as opposed to just changing the behavior (i.e. using willpower to get through each day). My practice is led with compassion and grace, with no room for labels or shame.
